Everything went according to plan when fourteenth ranked SlovenianKrka (3-7) defeated bottom-ranked Montenegrin Mornar (1-9) in Novo Mesto 103-90 on Friday. Krka made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. American guard Tayler Persons (191-1995, college: Ball St., agency: Players Group) notched 19 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists to lead the effort and point guard Jan Span (189-1992) supported him with 17 points and 6 assists. Krka's coach used a ten-player rotation saving starting five for next games. Even 25 points, 6 assists and 4 steals by American swingman Branden Jenkins (196-1994, college: TxWes, agency: AltusBasket) did not help to save the game for Mornar . Croatian power forward Lovro Buljevic (210-1998) added 13 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Krka moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Borac. Mornar lost third consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with nine games lost.
